State Rep. Garret Graves Speaks At Chamber Investors' Luncheon
March 29, 2017
Congressman Garret Graves attended the Central Chamber of Commerce Investors' Luncheon today at Mike Anderson's. He spoke on business in the Louisiana economy, cited improvements coming to I-10, and expressed his pride in the community's reaction to the recent Baton Rouge police shootings. "We could have gone the path of increased divisiveness," Rep. Graves said, "Or we could have gone the path of generosity and love. And we did... The shooter was not us. How our community responded? That's us."
After Graves spoke, the Chamber of Commerce welcomed two new members, EZ Bath and a new law firm on Hooper Road. Additionally, President Ron Erikson announced that 36 booths have been filled for the Health and Business Expo. The Health and Business Expo will be on August 27th from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Central Intermediate School at 12636 Sullivan Road. The event is free and will include free food, door prizes, children's entertainment, and a drawing for Saints Tickets. To register for the event, click here.
